This is a Blog for all yachtsmen, both power and sail. It is a place to have a rant and a whinge about moorings, the cost of fuel, (who has the cheapest Diesel I wonder). The general lack of good mechanics covers makers, sailmakers etc. Badly designed boats put together with MDF furniture that cost more than your house. It’s a place to swop ideas and tips on maintenance. Can you tell me how to stop my persistent deck leak? If you find somebody who gives a brilliant service then lets share the good news and encourage those who work to make our hobby fun. If you think some of our harbours are bad, rivers badly maintained and have poor services, then please do say we will pass the word on to those in the right place to ask the questions. We should not be prepared to accept bad service and grim facilities ashore when we get treated so much better over the other side of the North Sea.
